   Lines savtov? I think he says “lines haghtogh”
   odjakhi anmar mnas? He says “anmar grag”
   Pari maghtoum yertalou? He says “Pari maghtoumner dalou”

   Who writes these lyrics? Better check sources. And I appreciate if the original writers are mentioned too.

   Vart, this is how the lyrics were written in an old Shirag song book I found them in. Just because the artist sings the song a certain way does not necessarily mean that those are the original lyrics. With most of these songs it is extremely difficult to identify the original sources as they are handed down from generation to generation. That being said, If others agree I can change the lyrics to reflect what Harout sings in his version. Thanks!

   if you say (Odjakhi”T”) then you can say MNAS, it makes sense (Odjakhit Mnas Anmar) Like “Anmar Mna Mer Klkhin”. but if you say (Odjakhi) then you must say Grag (Odjakhi Grag). & in Both Cases the GRAG is the important. I believe the Song Writer ment (Tou Odjakhi Anmar Grag “KRAK”).

   I read the comments and am perplexed that folks would rather correct minutia grammar, or chime in on western vs. eastern dialects.. Man, I’m just ecstatic that someone took an inordinate amount of time to do all this.
